Chapter #2, Volume #1: WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!???!!?

Ash, Terra, River, and Nevor are all visiting The queen's castle, for council on their latest encounter.

"This is going to absolutely SUCK." Ash said plainly.

"Why?" Terra asked.

"How am I supposed to explain this?" Ash continued.

"Do I just say 'This mysterious girl with lightning powers showed up and kicked our asses.'"

"Well, that is actually what happpened." River added.

"It's no use trying to hide it."

"I have upmost confidance that Radience will be understanding." Nevor interjected.

"Pipe down you three, we're here." Ash remarked, silencing everyone.

Standing before a massive pair of double doors, Ash calmed herself for The inevitible shake-down.

CRRRRREEEEEEEEAAAAAAK!

Ash carefuly pushed the doors open, and stepped over the threshold.

Sitting upon a beautiful throne was the person of their worries.

The Queen of Light, Radience.

"You're exactly 1 minute, 37 seconds, and 287 miliseconds late..."

"Explain." Radience said, dryly.

"Well... Uh... ...There was a girl." Ash hastily put together a response.

"What?" Radience asked.

"She was the same as us. she welded lightning."

Radience pondered this for a moment.

And could not find an answer.

"...Tell me more." Radience implored.

"Well, she was wearing a mask that looked like some kind of wolf-"

"Raijin, actually." Nevor interupted.

Ash and Radience both stared at him.

"It's an ancient type of thunder spirit." He added.

Radience sighed.

"And this... raijin girl somehow managed to wipe out this entire team."

"Yes."

For nearly a minute, both sides just stared at each other.

"..."

"..."

"...You know that this complicates things, right?"

"Yes?" Ash was unsure what she meant.

"Well, that matters not. I want you, Angel Water, and Angel Earth to track down this girl."

"And bring her to me." Radience clenched her fist.

"Yes. it will be done."

"Alright, you can go now." Radience leaned back in her throne, summoning a book to reasearch.

Ash and the others did not wait for her to reconsider.

The intrepid crew of witches walked among the marble hallways alone, As Nevor still had business within the castle. The rest of them had started making their way to the exit.

"You know, we can't just keep calling her 'that girl', right?" River preposed.

"Well, what would we even call her?" Terra replied.

"I don't know... Kaiju Thunder, Perhaps?"

"What makes you think of that?" Terra asked.

"Simple, we're angels and She's our enemy." River replied.

"Nah, it should be Raijin Thunder." Ash joined in.

"Raijin Thunder... i get it." River concluded.

"Raijin Thunder it is then." Terra finished.

And so, the three of them began their long and tedious search.

The newly named Raijin Thunder, stood before a door. It was not a unique kind of door, Before her was just a regular front door.

Knowing this, she knocked three times before waiting, And knocking for the forth time.

A precise code.

The door was opened by a tall, muscular woman.

"You're exactly 1 minute, 37 seconds, and 287 miliseconds early." the woman remarked.

"And where did you get the number of miliseconds?"

"I made it up. come on in."

The house would be bland, if it wasn't for the basement.

"So, what happened on your first mission?" the woman asked, as they made their way to a stairwell.

"Sadly, i did not obtain the intel i needed."

"The location of their master?"

Raijin nodded, as they started decending.

"I get the feeling it wasn't a total failure though." the woman added.

"I was able to... test out my equipment."

"Heh, I see. Did you win?"

"Of course I did."

"Guess that training worked."

The both of them reached the basement, Where stacks of military surplus was stored.

"So, need anything?"

"Do you happen to have jet engines in stock?"
