Chapter 4: The Return.
"This Contains so much valuable Info!"
Eulogy chattered, excitedly ripping out cables.
"Uh, what are you doing?"
"Taking It home, obviously."
Eulogy seemed to struggle with lifting it.
"...I have a better idea."
Spirit outstretched her hands and spoke a simple chant.
"lēงif໐Ş໐, ipŞน๓ Ştif໐r"
At once, the PC levitated a few feet off the ground.
*sigh* Eulogy begrudgingly began to pull the floating mass of hardware with them,
As they left the Laboratory.
On the long way home, Spirit had an... unusual question for Eulogy.
"Why didn't you use magic to lift that... What was it called again?"
"PC. it was a PC."
"Yeah.. why didn't you at least try to lift it using magic?"
"...Because I don't have any."
"WHAT?! Th..That's impossible!" Spirit was in disbelief.
"The Council says that everyone has Magi-"
"Well, Maybe the council is Wrong." Eulogy interrupted.
"Now that's just bullcrap. The Council of Six is Highly respected throughout the country."
"Well, if i was a tyrannical regime, the best thing i could come up with to control the masses," Eulogy paused for a moment.
"Would be a way to convice everyone that everything is perfectly fine."
"Saying that everyone has magic is the best way to do just that."
".....I never thought about it like that." The rest of the way home was burdened by silence.
When they finally got back home, Eulogy Started Preparing to take apart the "PC".
"Hey, do you mind getting my Toolkit?" Eulogy Requested. "My hands are full."
"Sure, where is it?" Spirit Asked back.
"It should be in the Attic."
"Alright then."
Upon reaching the Attic, Spirit is greeted by what appeared to be a creepy, unfinished suit of armor.
Luckily, Eulogy's toolbox was right next to it.
After picking up the toolbox, Spirit briskly got the hell out of there.
"What's up there, anyway?"
"Nothing to worry about."
